Woodhouse Grange CC - Welcome
Woodhouse Grange CC is a family oriented Cricket Club with a renowned tradition of developing young talent which has been the basis of the Club’s outstanding success over nearly 70 years. We currently have four Senior and three junior sides as well as an Academy Team which plays a vital role in the transition of junior players into the Senior League environment.
The Club has a number of ECB trained and qualified coaches who spend many hours developing youthful talent both in the winter (indoor) and summer (outdoor) nets. Woodhouse Grange is also very welcoming to established senior players who are either new to the area or who simply require a change and the opportunity to consistently challenge for local league honours.
As members of Woodhouse Grange there are real possibilities of playing in the West Indies with our Men of Derwent travelling side or appearing at Lords in the final of the National Village Cup, which has so far been achieved four times between 1995 and 2008.
There is also a strong emphasis at the Club on Social and Family membership enjoying functions during the Season where all the players, members and supporters can gather for a convivial celebration of the Club’s continuing success.
